Compression & receiver
Compressed air from the SM compressor first enters the air receiver. The tank stores air, buffers demand and allows further cooling, so some water vapour condenses and collects at the bottom.
Pre-filtration
Air leaving the receiver passes through a pre-filter before it enters the refrigerated air dryer. This is the first filtration stage in the configuration shown.
Refrigerated drying
Inside the dryer’s heat exchanger, the refrigerant circuit removes heat from the compressed air. As the air cools to the required pressure dew point, water vapour condenses into liquid. A moisture separator collects this condensate, which is discharged through the dryer’s drain.
Final filtration & supply
Two downstream precision filters remove contaminants according to their fitted filter elements. The treated compressed air then enters the distribution piping and air-using equipment. Filter grades and the required dryness are selected for the application.

SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

A suitable air system balances air delivery, working pressure, air quality and operating conditions. Correct sizing matters at the initial purchase and throughout daily production. We review the complete equipment arrangement so the compressor, receiver, dryer and filters work toward the same application requirement.
Air demand and energy use
Permanent magnet variable speed control follows changing air demand; fixed-speed options are also available. SMT two-stage compression can save up to 30% energy compared with single-stage compression at the same delivered airflow and pressure. Actual savings depend on the equipment and load profile.
Drying, filtration and storage
Specify the moisture, particle and oil requirements at the point of use. Size the dryer for the actual inlet conditions and pressure, and use receiver storage to suit demand changes. An integrated package already includes its stated air-treatment functions.
Configuration and maintenance
Confirm motor protection, components, voltage, frequency and phase. Plan cooling airflow, condensate drainage and service access before installation. Correctly identified consumables and clear equipment information help with maintenance after delivery.

Which compressor should I choose for my workshop?
Start with the working pressure and air consumption of the tools or production machines, then consider operating hours, electrical supply and air quality. Compare an integrated package with a standalone system based on the equipment you already have and the space available.
Can you supply a complete compressed air system?
Yes. We can review a compressor, receiver, dryer and filtration arrangement around your application. Integrated SZ and SZG packages combine the stated functions in one equipment format; separate systems allow more flexibility in layout.
Are pressure and airflow available in US units?
The product pages show pressure in bar and psi, and airflow in m³/min and CFM. You can also enter your preferred units in the compressor selection window. Confirm the reference conditions when comparing performance figures.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Send the application, required pressure and airflow, operating hours, voltage, frequency, phase, quantity and destination. A production-machine manual or current compressor nameplate is helpful when the required size is uncertain.
